FAQ

What is concierge medicine?

Concierge medicine is a modern approach to healthcare. It eliminates the need for a physical clinic where the physician comes to you for your medical needs. This can be done in the comfort of your own home. No waiting rooms, no commute; just medical care when you need it.

  • Acute visits allow us to make house calls when you are sick, limiting your exposure to others.
  • Scheduled annual visits are an opportunity for us to perform a comprehensive exam to ensure we are preventing and/or solving any health concerns.

What is the average age of an Internal Medicine patient?

Internists provide care for adults. If you are 18 years or older, this falls into our specialty. We do not offer services for pediatric patients—i.e., patients less than 18 years old.

Do you provide OB/GYN services?

We request that female patients requiring OB/GYN services establish care with a board-certified OB/GYN in the area.

How long are appointments?

The length of your appointment depends on the type of service requested. We offer a variety of scheduled appointment types for general Internal Medicine—designated 30- or 60-minute appointments, as well as miscellaneous appointments for annual physical exams, acute visits and/or after-hours visits. Acute visit durations will vary. Additional appointments for cosmetic treatments will vary depending on type and extent of service requested.

What equipment do I need for my visit?

Nothing—you do not have to worry about any medically-related equipment for your visit. We come prepared with any necessary equipment to provide you the most thorough care.

What is the in-house pharmacy?

We have access to commonly prescribed medications in the healthcare field and will be able to dispense prescriptions to you immediately. This eliminates the need to travel to the pharmacy to pick up your prescription, adding an extra layer of convenience to your visit.

What if I need to go to the Emergency Department?

If you are evaluated and it is felt that you need to go to the Emergency Department, our team will make arrangements.

What is your pet policy?

We love animals. Please feel free to have your animals present during your visit/consultation. Keep in mind we may need to ask your furry friends to step out when getting ready to perform an actual procedure.
